What a lovely colored picture. So simple seeming and yet the eyes are drawn into the details of color and texture.

The basic idea isn't terribly original, but that doesn't matter. Nothing can be fully original; what matters is what you do with what you have. And here you've succeeded.

From the golden glowing grass hoovering at the picture's edge to the hints of cool blue sky behind the tangled branches you have a perfect balance of hazy (the grass) and sharp (the foreground trees).

The colors, as mentioned above, are striking and beautiful. The warmth of where one is viewing from contrasts nicely with the slightly forbidding coolness of the bare woods. Yet those same woods have a multitude of color hints amongst them and so much texture to focus on from their depth. Very neat effect.

The bare trunk of the main tree reflecting the same light as the grass is just icing on the cake and what makes this image stand out from many like it. Great find and capture.
